The Dev
Behind It All

I'm Mhel B. Bustamante, a GIS Developer and 4th Year BS Information Systems student majoring in Business Applications Development at West Visayas State University – La Paz, Iloilo City. I build spatial systems that turn geographic data into decisions — combining GIS analysis with full-stack development.

My thesis is a Spatial Decision Support Information System built with React.js, Node.js, and Python — it maps 6,370+ households across 24 barangays, visualizing family-level vulnerability and resilience data to support LGU planning and social protection targeting.

I'm focused on the intersection of GIS, spatial analysis, and software engineering, and I'm looking for opportunities to apply what I've built to real geographic and social problems.
